What ID can I use when creating my account?

Overview

OneVest requires that you provide valid photo identification before your funds can be invested on your behalf.

The purpose of this article is to help you understand what OneVest accepts as valid ID in the event that your account requires manual review.

ID Requirements

OneVest requires that the ID you use for your account creation:

• Is valid and current (not expired)
• Is issued by either a federal, provincial, or territorial government
• Indicates your name
• Includes a matching photo 
• Includes a unique identifying number

Below are the types of IDs that OneVest will accept.
