Do I need to delete my account?
If you decide you no longer want to use the OneVest platform, you don't need to explicitly delete your account.
You can keep your account open should you wish to use it again in the future. Since certain types of accounts will incur fees to close entirely - this is sometimes an easier option.
If you have completed a deposit with OneVest
In order to comply with regulatory requirements, we retain records related to your account creation and transaction history for a period of seven (7) years.
However, you can still request to delete your account.
In this case: your account will be unable to interact with the OneVest platform - but, your data will be retained and deleted after the retention period expires, following your request.
If you have not yet completed a deposit
Whether you have created a full account or not, until you initiate a deposit, we can process your consent withdrawal request without the retention requirements mentioned above.
We will process your consent withdrawal and remove your personal information from our platform. We will advise you via email of the expected impact towards accessing OneVest products and services before executing any changes.
